Yesterday was 8th March and I hope that all of you, my dears, enjoy with your gongrats. I’ve wanted to write it yesterday, but something happened. However, once again — congrats!

Anyway, I have one more reason to write it. I’d like to tell you about an interesting women. Her name — Eleanor Roosevelt. She was the First Lady of the United States and very important political figure for her time.

Can you believe that fragile women may be so…usual and unusual at the same time? She was very progressive women, she thought about women’s responsibility and freedom, moreover, about human freedom! Eleanor played an instrumental role in drafting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. One fact: Harry S.Truman called her “First Lady of the World” because of her human rights achievements.

Honestly, I was surpised when I found out that she was in the USSR. I don’t know why, just was surprised.
Her life was too saturated by events. War, incapacitated husband, congress and a lot of publushed books. If I had a chance to meet with someone who lived in our past…I would think about her candidacy.
